近日有消息称,苹果正在酝酿打造史上最薄的iPhone 17 Air机型。彭博社科技记者马克·古尔曼透露,苹果设计师团队曾认真考虑过在该机型上完全取消充电接口的方案,但最终因顾忌欧盟可能实施的处罚而暂时保留了USB-C接口。

针对苹果的顾虑,欧盟委员会内部人士作出明确回应:"欧盟电子设备统一充电接口法规从未限制厂商研发无接口设备"。这意味着若苹果未来推出仅支持MagSafe磁吸充电的iPhone,在欧盟市场仍属合法销售范畴。
值得关注的是,当前iPhone改用USB-C接口实属欧盟法规倒逼下的被动调整。自2024年起,欧盟强制要求所有在售电子设备必须采用统一充电标准,旨在解决不同品牌设备接口混乱导致的资源浪费问题。据统计,仅欧洲市场每年因充电器不通用产生的电子*就超过1.1万吨,相当于埃菲尔铁塔重量的1.5倍。
从技术迭代角度看,苹果在无线充电领域早已布局多年。目前MagSafe磁吸充电功率已提升至15W,相较初代7.5W实现翻倍增长。配合iOS系统优化的充电管理算法,无线充电效率与安全性正逐渐逼近有线方案。不过业内人士指出,要实现完全无接口设计,数据传输和系统恢复等功能的替代方案仍需突破。
